Safe, Vibrant and Healthy Public Spaces
The project looks to build knowledge and awareness about the importance of safe, vibrant and healthy public spaces for the overall well being and development of adolescents.
WRI will work closely with up to 200 adolescents in the 10-19 age group as part of their demonstrator project. In this project, WRI will help build adolescents’ understanding of safe and healthy public spaces that promote physical, social, mental and environmental conditions for the overall wellbeing of young people. The project, thus, aims to create a foundation for working with the city authorities and other stakeholders in the mid-long term for transformation in public space infrastructure along with creating a draft framework on public spaces that can inform policy and actions for safe, vibrant and healthy public spaces.
